Frequently Asked Questions

What league will my child be in?  Our league placement is based on age.  Please see our Boys Baseball or Girls Softball age charts.

When is the season?  Our season begins with practices after April 1st and we wrap up our season with our Baseball/Softball Day celebration the Saturday of Father's Day weekend in June.

When will I know what team my child is on?  Teams are formed mid to late March.  Your child's manager will contact you to introduce themselves.

What are winter clinics?  We hold clinics by age groups during February and March.  You do not need to sign up for these clinics however, you must be signed up for the spring in-house season to attend.  These clinics cost $10 per session.  It is a fun way to get them out on a winter Saturday morning and practice some baseball fundamentals to prepare for the Spring season.

When do practice/games begin?  Team practice begins after April 1st.  Games for most leagues start the last week of April.  Some of our younger teams start later to allow the teams to have more practice time.

When is practice?  Practices are scheduled by your child's manager.  They will notify you of your practice days and times.

When are games?   Most of our divisions have one game scheduled during the week and one game on Saturday.

What equipment does my child need?  All players need their own glove.  We also suggest that each player have their own batting helmet and bat.  All Softball Players must have a batting helmet with a face cage attached.  All Boys Baseball players in our Rookie 6 and A league's must use a batting helmet with a face cage.  All helmets must be NOCSAE rated.   Please check out our Equipment Purchasing Suggestions.
